New Year’s Resolutions

I really don’t believe in these, but I’ve decided to change it up

1. Have more confidence
2. Start saving towards a trip to Europe
3. Allow my creative side to have more a presence
4. Read more
5. Meet new people and make new friends; be more social
6. Get out of my shell
7. Take a trip to Walt Disney World while I’m able to get in free
8. Go to San Francisco
9. Have a relationship
10. Find/Decided my major
11. Continue on learning Italian

When I was a kid, I didn’t have a laptop, iPod, Blackberry, PS3, Wifi or iPads. I played outside with friends, bruised my knees, made up stories and played hide and seek. I ate what my mom made. I would think twice before I said “no” to my parents. Life wasn’t hard, it was good & I survived. Kids these days are spoiled. Re-post this if you appreciate the way you were raised. I think we were happier kids.

I(mattsamonster) did grow up with every single Gameboy from the Color to the DS, N64, GameCube, PS1, PS2, and XBOX. I even had a portable screen for my GameCube, so that shit went everywhere! OMG I played outside too! I WAS A FUCKIN KID TOO! I have so many battle wounds from playing hard. I played Hide’n’Seek—IN THE DARK TOO! I ate everything and I still do! Life wasn’t hard, it was good & I survived. Kids these days are spoiled—and so was I.

Kids are happy! You all need to remember that this electronic generation was just starting when we were kids. Just because they do something different now, doesn’t mean they aren’t happy or happier than us, and doesn’t make us happier than them.

umm..i haven’t been on that many.

But I have to say the night at Downtown Disney, kinda bummed cuz we missed the Fireworks. We went to Denny’s after because it’s across the street from DLR. The whole night we just talked and laughed.

I don’t even know if he considers it a date, but I do.
